The register
The register of members is the legal title. The company keeps it, as company law requires, and its directors approve every entry.
bSharesX · built on bWalletX
Share registers for any company. The company keeps its register as the law asks. A token mirrors it on chain. Each holder sees a live certificate in their own wallet.
Almost all of this is coming. The first register is in testing now, inside bWalletX.

How it works
Nothing about who owns what changes hands on our servers. The company runs its own register; bSharesX keeps the on-chain record and the holder's view in step with it.
The register of members is the legal title. The company keeps it, as company law requires, and its directors approve every entry.
A transferable on-chain record that mirrors the register, entry for entry. If the two ever differ, the register wins.
A live view in the holder's wallet that redraws when the register changes. Want a keepsake? Mint a snapshot of it.
Registers are run by the companies themselves. bSharesX is the software they keep them with. It suits any company, from three friends with a shop to a firm with hundreds of members. Our own company is the first register in testing.

First register in testing. The Bitcoin Corporation Ltd, our own company, keeps its register in bShares inside bWalletX. Restricted to its registered members and director. bWalletX › bShares (direct editions only)
Set up your company's register. Any company enters its members and holdings, and its directors approve them.
Holdings in bWalletX. Members see what they hold, in their own wallet, next to everything else.
Live certificates. A certificate that redraws when the register changes, plus an optional keepsake mint.
Record transfers. A transfer is entered when the directors approve it, and the on-chain record follows the register.
Member votes. Resolutions counted by holding, straight from the register.
Payouts. A company pays its members pro rata to their holdings, from its own wallet.
Partnership shares. For groups that haven't incorporated yet: a locked record of who holds what, that moves only when the partners agree.
